Safety and Comfort During Training - Wrist Protect
The gloves feature Wrist Protect technology, incorporating three stiffening inserts in the wrist and metacarpal areas. These inserts are made from a special high-density foam, ensuring they are completely safe for both the wearer and their sparring partner.
This system stabilizes the wrist and metacarpal zones, reducing strain during strikes and lowering injury risks. It has become increasingly popular among top glove manufacturers in recent years.
Double Velcro System
The double Velcro system enhances wrist support and extends the life of the Velcro. The additional internal strap reduces stress on the main Velcro, significantly slowing wear and preventing it from loosening during training.
How Does It Work?
Two factors contribute to Velcro wear:
- Fastening and unfastening when putting on or removing the gloves.
- Forces exerted on the gloves during training.
While we can't control the first factor, the second can be mitigated. The internal Velcro absorbs approximately 80% of the load during exercise, significantly reducing stress on the primary Velcro strap.
