What size puzzle mats to choose?

Various sizes of puzzle mats are available on the market. For a small training area, you can choose those with smaller sizes (usually 50 - 60 cm), but for a larger area, it is worth choosing the larger ones (100 cm x 100 cm) - the principle is simple: the fewer elements to connect, the more stable the training surface.

What thickness of puzzle mats to choose?

What thickness of puzzle mats is optimal depends mainly on its application. For stand-up training (karate, kickboxing, etc.).) the optimum thickness will be training mats 2 cm, however, if the training will be dominated by overthrows or ground training (judo, bjj) then it is worth choosing thicker mats - we recommend in this case training mats 4 cm.

Most of the mats are 2-colored (different color on each side) which will allow you to lay out the battlefield with a border.
