Motor development and formation of coordination skills on ladders
In the social sphere, an able-bodied person is liked. Physically healthy people score better on intelligence tests . The entire life of a human being, each stage of his development from conception to old age should be associated with physical activity, movement and the promotion of motor skills.

Reasons why proper motor development and working on one's body are important:
- Exercise directly improves mental and physical health;
- Discharge excess energy, helps to lift tension and frustrations;
- good motor development gives a sense of confidence and satisfaction
- Proper motor development facilitates social acceptance;

Coordination abilities are individual qualities that define a person's capabilities. Movement coordination is commonly referred to as correctly executed movements of both a local and global nature. Local movements (such as the act of writing), are simpler and require the participation of only selected muscle groups or individual muscles. Global movements are more complex, requiring activity of several muscle groups at once or the whole body. Various compositions of structural elements make up body sensing and movement sensing.

High level of motor coordination called phenomenal ability enables success in sports. The higher the level of innate coordination a person has, the greater the increase can be through systematic training. The height of this level has a significant impact on the speed of teaching exercise technique.
Coordination is significantly influenced by several factors, m.in. such as talent (innate coordination), experience, previous skills (acquired coordination) and motor memory. It is important to form it at school age, because later the process is much more difficult. Systematic training can do wonders, as many athletes have already proved really.

Effective coordination training consists of the following elements :

- responsiveness
- balance
- rhythmization
- diversification
- orientation
Coordination ladder is one of the best training equipment that shapes and improves coordination and has a very positive effect on balance and speed. It is important to ensure that the time of contact between the foot and the ground is as short as possible during the exercise. By practicing on the ladder, the muscles get used to react faster, which affects the faster change of direction of the run. The coordination ladder is used in their training by many sports m.in. footballers, karate players and boxers.
